I am challenged as a follower of christ to follow his example.
Caring for widows, orphans, and the poor (those less fortunate than myself), I am ashamed to say, is something that I have not allowed to penetrate my heart enough. Lately I have been challenged a great deal on this issue, and recently I discovered ONE. I think it is pretty awesome. Click on the banner above to check it out. They are not asking for our money just our voices.
Perhaps there is more to this than ONE? ONE is a really easy thing to do, but what about in our city, or neighborhood? Why not drop a comment here with a suggestion or idea? Perhaps we can work together to make a difference. I am willing to consider anything. Whoa that was kind of scary to type, but i mean it. bring it on.
