I was reading a book the other day called, “Blue Like Jazz” by Donald Miller. In there he talkes about how he no longer choses to defend Christianity even though he is a Christian. His reason for doing this is becasue, he says, if you were to ask ten people what Christianity is, you would get ten anwers. There is just to much confusion, and to many, it is a very negative word. Therefore he resolves to not defend Christianity. What he will do, and what he loves to do is talk about Jesus and the cross.
I thought a lot about this and it made real sence to me. After all, us humans just muck things up becasue EVERYONE is mucked up. But Jesus has quite a story, a big story, and he came to change things, to change us. He did not come to defend Christianty.
My thoughts were drawn to this song by a guy named Chris Tomlin off of his album Arriving. Below you will find the lirics, they are beautiful and mysterious at the same time.

So if anyone out there would like to talk about jesus I am all ears. It is an amazing story, and really it is everyones story.
